Malmö NVC Community #13 – Practise with role-play

How can we express ourselves more honestly, more clearly, and at the same time with care? We’ve all probably had situations, in private or at work, where we’d like to practise expressing ourselves more the way we want.
An effective and often fun way to practise is with role-play — where you can adjust the difficulty, repeat steps, and even try taking your counterpart’s perspective. Role-play can feel unfamiliar, perhaps embarrassing or hard, so we’re taking a whole evening to create good conditions for practising calmly.
You don’t need previous knowledge of NVC, but if you have it, this is a golden chance to dig into role-play exercises in particular.
Malmö NVC Community is a forum for anyone who wants to learn more about Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Our practice meet-ups are aimed at people who want to learn more, develop, or maintain their skills. Others are welcome to contribute by leading meet-ups, and we also invite trainers from elsewhere.
