The NVC series at Open Tiny

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a consciousness practice aimed at increasing the quality of connection to ourselves and to others. It helps us grow, improve our conflict resolution skills, and our emotional resilience.

This is a standalone evening session that runs once a month, as part of an ongoing series. Each session stands on its own. Come to whichever months suit you. There's no need to start in June, and no commitment to the whole series.

The series is an opportunity to learn NVC at almost no cost. In exchange, what I'd love is feedback. It'll help me on my CNVC Certification journey.

NVC helps us grow, improve our conflict resolution skills, and our emotional resilience.

Who is it for?
Any adult who is interested in self-development and/or social change. Whether you'll value it or not depends on where you are in life. Those who tend to get the most out of it are people who are longing for authenticity, and more sustainable way to live in which everyone's insides matter.

What happens during the session?

What to bring?
Pen and notebook.

Participation and prerequisites

You can attend whichever sessions suit you. Please sign up in advance for each one if you want to be sure to have a seat. The early sessions (June, July, August) are introductory and open to anyone — each takes a different facet of the foundations, so they don't repeat. Prior NVC experience is helpful but not required. From September onward, please have either read at least one NVC book (e.g. Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life or anything by Liv Larsson), gained equivalent experience, or attended one of the earlier sessions.

Upcoming sessions

Each session stands on its own — come to whichever suit you. Maximum 12 participants. €0–€5 voluntary contribution toward fika.
